    Do you lay the griddle over your gas range or is it part of the stovetop design? Burger looks decent.

    I think I need to buy one of the trowels from a hardware store. Long metal spatula works somewhat but sometimes I get a hesitation smash when that oil spits up like crazy

    Good size for right burger to bun ratio.

    Question about the patties/griddle. I see yours were pretty thin but broke up a bit, maybe during the cook and maybe some right after the smash. I’ve had this problem of holes/space forming during the cook which I assume is fat melting away. Are we doomed to serving broken up patties if we want a proper smashburger?
