I asked my wife Sarah to make a guest appearance to make her pasta with white clam sauce and prosciutto, which I love. You might be surprised that I love it with canned clams. There’s a reason. I’m not crazy about white clam sauce that uses fresh clams in the shell because you never get enough clams. I like a LOT of clams so Sarah uses canned chopped clams and canned white clam sauce. I’ll take this over fresh clams in the shell any day. This is one of my favorite, go-to, comfort dishes, which Sarah makes with either angel hair, which she prefers, or linguine, which I prefer. — John Hornick
