In honour of my Maritime family, I decided to use my green tomatoes from this years garden to make Chow! Last year I simply made pickled green tomatoes (which were amazing), but wanted to try this one for a bit of a change.

Here is the recipe from [Earth, Food and Fire](https://www.earthfoodandfire.com/homemade-green-tomato-chow-chow/#wprm-recipe-container-11366)
This is a water bath recipe!
Please note I adjusted this because I had 2 lbs of green tomatoes, but gave it a taste and still was pretty darn good. I also only used pickling vinegar (7%) and not white wine vinegar.
If anyone else has green tomato chow recipe they want to share, feel free! I don’t have my family’s recipe, so this was as close as I could get.
That looks amazing. Thanks for sharing the link! My tomatoes have gone wild this year and I know I’m gonna have a mess of green ones. I may try this. Thank you!!!
