Your best bet is with the Korean fried chicken places like Peeps Kitchen. It’s been a while since I last ordered fries from there, but the image looks legit: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jp1phYm3wyqgmbX17](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Jp1phYm3wyqgmbX17)

Mad For Chicken fries look good too: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/8krLUyoJwAUe3MVW7](https://maps.app.goo.gl/8krLUyoJwAUe3MVW7)

Five Leaves and Keg and Lantern don’t have the ~~baking soda~~ starch around the fries — they’re okay but not great.

Blue Collar has fries more akin to McDonald’s, they’re solid too.

I feel I see these at halal spots often

  3. Zaatar (on Myrtle in Bushwick) has fries just like that, and with zaatar seasoning!

Close by, but Burger City in Ridgewood uses these. And good burgers

If you really don’t want to break the bank and the edible is kicking in, a bag of these fries from Checkers really hits the spot.

  6. If you live near a Bonchon then you can check them out. They have these fries!

That’s how my favorite neighborhood bodega’s seasoned fries look. (Deli Bite in Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill area)

Elder Greene in Greenpoint has these exact fries.

Would love to know where to get these in south Brooklyn too!

Darna in cobble hill is great. Can get a lamb gyro or a smoothie too

This is how Koreans typically do them. They’re double-fried. If you’re near a BonChon, I’m sure they’ll have them

Juicy King Crab Express – Dekalb & broadway

$4 and they have Cajun fries, both are good

FYI, these fries are battered, that’s where that extra texture on the outside comes from. So you can probably ask places if their fries are battered before you order.
