They make a surprisingly good burger, but I wouldn’t bother trying it with bacon. They use bacon bits and ultimately you end up paying more for a worse burger.

Haven’t had one since I left CA 20 years ago but I loved introducing people to the double del burger. The Del Taco in our town was just damn good quality all the time.

Prior to about 2000, those were fantastic burgers. Especially from the old Naugles locations. Whenever a store was remodeled, suddenly they weren’t quite as good. Maybe they stopped using flattop grills or something?
