So I was at the store and grabbed ~10lbs of some cheap pork cuts, I’m thinking of grinding them up for pork sausage. But also open/wanting some other ideas, ty!

    Grill, fry, broil. Pork chops are very versatile.

  2. I saw a recipe from “Food Wishes” (youtube channel) where he did an “al pastor”-style pork chop. If you aren’t already initiated, al pastor is a chili/pineapple marinated roast pork that is popular in tacos.

    If you’re going to grind them, you’ll need to add some back fat as those are pretty lean.

    Au gratin potatoes with pork chops slow baked on top

    Katsu sandwich.

    Trim fat, pound thin, salt, flour-egg-Panko breading, and shallow fry on each side. Soft buns or white bread with Japanese BBQ (or regular) and simple vinegar cabbage slaw. So good. My go-to when I find pork loin on sale.

    * Hit ’em with some “Shake and bake” and make baked porkchops

    * Make some stirfry

    * Pork fajitas

    * Dice, saute with olive oil, bell peppers, onions, italian herbs. When it is cooked, hit it with grated parm. Serve over oiled orzo with basil. (Not sure if this dish has a name, but it’s something my mom makes and that I have gleefully stolen)

    * Saute with butter, garlic, rosemary and season salt. Serve with baked potato.

    * “apple chops.” Sear lightly, and then cook at a low temperature with butter, apple cider, granny smith apples, a bit of black pepper. When the apples are soft, separate from the pork and hit with apple pie spices (clove, cinnamon, ginger, allspice). Pairs well with candied yams or sweet potatoes.

    Ranch seasoning, browned in a pan, then smothered with a cream of mushroom gravy and slow cooked in a crockpot.

    Fiesta Uncle Chris’ steak seasoning (it’s at HEB) then grilled. Served with veggies.

    Chicken fried pork chops with white gravy.

    Debone them and make tacos.

    Debone them and make stir fry.

    Debone them and make jambalaya/fried rice

    Deep fry and make gravy with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

    Brine and grill. Grilled pork chops are absolutely amazing!

    Pan sear with a baked potato and salad.

    Season and bake @ 325

    Oven with pinapple juice and slices.

  16. Slice em into strips and marinate in bulgogi sauce then fry. I do it every time I find this… sooo good with just rice and veggies
