My go to order is a double-double Animal Style, add raw onions, add chopped chilies, and ketchup. Took the photo before I ripped the last bit of napkin off the cheese.

is that a piece of the wrapper stuck to the cheese/meat?

When non California people say “In N Out isn’t that good” or something like that I usually will bring up this point. There’s locations along all of our freeways here, when we’re doing a road trip it’s an almost required stop. In N Out gets associated with some of our best memories this way. That’s why it’s special. Most locations also offer late night dining room hours so after a concert or a night at the bar we can go sit down at In N Out and it becomes attached to those experiences as well.

In N Out is not only the best quality *fast food* burger (NOT fast casual, like 5 guys.) it is a part of California culture

  4. Just had Steak n Shake and it was better. Plus I didn’t have to wait 30 mins for a burger. Double win.

Native Californian. In n Out is not the be all and end all of burgers.

But it is damn good quality, consistent fresh ingredients, wonderful customer service, a company that treats employees well, and a good, solid fast food burger.

Double double mustard fried, spread and grilled onions, lettuce pickles and chopped peppers. Neapolitan shake and a fry well. Never fails, wherever you are.
