I’m opening a sandwich shop in my town, so I have been cooking brisket after brisket trying to master making pastrami. Luckily someone’s gotta eat it all.

Role model. Always been a dream to own the (now defunct) deli I managed in my early 20’s. The absolute best of luck to you.
I don’t think you’ll need luck though, use that picture in your advertising to show how amazing your food is. I’m salivating.

Looks good to me, the layers going vertical(yeah?) could be interesting to eat.. Howd you do that?

Oh my. In my head it looks and tastes so good. But I know one bite and my teeth will be stuck with little bits of meat. Still worth though.

If you need a taste tester just to help verify that it’s as good as it looks…. 😁
Also, where will this shop be located and can it PLEASE be in Nashville???
The_WolfieOne

Best of luck with the Shop!

Fucking gorgeous. I used to collect food mags and this is a cover shot.
Even the bread looks great. What kinda bread is it?
I hate thin sliced pastrami/corned beef so good work.

That looks amazing!! Best of luck to you!!
As a sandwich eater, my only recommendation would be to maybe spread the toppings on top of the pastrami so that every bite, to serve this beauty justice!

That pastrami looks incredible! The layers of meat, the texture, and the color are spot on. If you’re aiming to perfect it even further, you might want to play around with the seasoning during the curing process to balance the flavors to your liking. Also, experimenting with different wood types for smoking can add a unique twist to the flavor profile. Best of luck with your sandwich shop—if this pastrami is any indication, it’s going to be a hit!
