I attempted two different salsa today:
Pictures one and two consists of 3 small early girl homegrown tomatoes, 2 homegrown long-hot peppers, 1 locally grown jalapeno, 1/4 white onion, 2 garlic cloves, 1/2 a lime, juiced, a bit fresh cilantro, 1/3 tsp kosher salt and pinch of cumin.
It tastes fresh, bright, and quite forward-spicy!
Picture three consists of 5 fresnos and 5 serranos, then onion, garlic, lime, cilantro salt and cumin at the above ratios.
This one was very tasty but with more of a building heat, though surprisingly less spicy.
I can't wait to try other recipes and suggestions!
