My son is turning 10. Every year we do a backyard party with family and a few of his friends, and every year he requests pizza. This is the first time ever that he asked me to grill. Just hotdogs and hamburgers, but I was deeply honored.

My 3yr old makes a lot with me. Thinks is the coolest ever. As well as fixing things and working/washing cars.
Never feel weird at kid parties when she says to her friends “I cooked steak with a castron, it was really hot, but yummy” (cast iron, grill finally soon new house) proud as fuck

That’s great!!! My son has just entered the 8th grade and my wife is already making huge plans for his backyard graduation party. Little does she know that I am going to use the occasion to add to my grilling arsenal 😀 I will definitely add another grill or drum smoker to my arsenal. Afterall, there will quite a few mouths I will need to feed.
