  1. Please don't dump the liquid from the canned chicken (and other meats) down the drain. That's chicken broth! Use it. You worked hard creating it.

  2. If you whisk cold liquid (broth, milk, water – whatever your primary liquid for your soup or gravy is) in with your flour, you can whisk it 100% smooth. Do it before adding any hot ingredients. When the liquids heat up, the flour starts to cook and clump together. So by stirring the flour and liquid first while it's still cold, you eliminate lumps. πŸ˜‰

(Same principle applies if you need to make a flour or a cornstarch slurry to thicken something, do it with cold liquid. Also, if you're cleaning utensils, bowls, etc that have had flour in them, wash them with cold, soapy water first. The cold water will dissolve the flour, making it much less likely to clog a drain, and less likely to take extended time to clean.)

  3. I am always impressed when you do one of these big batch cooking videos. You keep it together. Never seeming flustered by anything. Thinking and changing things on the fly. Using available products. You are inspiring. Thanks and God bless.

  4. Please use the back of your knife to scrape veggies off your cutting board. It will save the blades sharpness. Thank you for putting your hair back while cooking. It looks beautiful. BTW. God bless you all and many prayers πŸ™πŸ» Nurse Judi in Scottsdale and E Minister πŸ™πŸ» ❀️

  5. I feel a new peace dwelling within you amidst the trauma recovery & just soldiering on. God has you & that peace of the spirit energy radiates outwardly. I pray the new journey can maintain as one of peace for you with no further suffering. God is always near to the broken hearted. I pray to dwell in that peace amidst my own traumas.

  6. I love how you always inspire me with so many new dishes and I love to watch repeats to because its a reminder. Thank you for the pantry guide. I am so looking forward to going through it. The chicken, broccoli rice looks so good. The sesame soup too. They all look good. Got some great ideas this video. hugs

  7. I just lovenly instructed (scolded) my own adult daughter the otherday for whacking the metal spoon on the enamel pot edge. It will chip it. I have learned that by doing it myself on my favorite pot.

  8. What would you say to someone who is trying to find themselves again? Who wants to eat healthy and exercise but always starts and stops ?? You look happy btw ❀
