Idk if it was dry aged but the taste was amazing, especially for the price.

Hard to tell the quality of the meat cooked. Would have been nice to see the marbling prior to. Looks tasty though

I could be wrong, but that looks like a bone-in NY strip.

Unless there’s a part that you didn’t take a picture of, that’s a t-bone with the filet side cut off, so a strip steak.

I personally like my steak cooked, not just seared, but to each their own

Damn not only is this one still moooing it’s also standing up – Love it!

  6. Christ how did you get it so perfect on the outside and so rare on the inside? One of those pizza ovens?

Looks like it’s ready to walk away still blood still pumping through it’s veins

That’s a bone-in strip. It’s missing the tenderloin to make it a t-bone. If it’s not prime then it’s overpriced.

Was it frozen when cooked or were you going for moo?

first thought is, that’s not a t-bone. other than that, looks great.

It’s crazy that so many people on a sub about steak get mad when someone cooks a steak that’s not themself and how exactly they like it.

It looks good! You should post another pic after you cook it

  13. For everyone asking the steak was sitting on its bone lol

  14. OrangeCrack

Looks fine, I’d love to see it after you finished cooking it

  15. Ashcrashh

That honestly looks perfect, I love the doneness and sear on that steak

How did it get burnt and yet be raw in the middle? That’s neat?

It’s like you cut it out of the cow with a light saber. Is the middle still cold?
