  1. The Columbia Restaurant in Tampa is the oldest restaurant in Florida, and the largest Spanish restaurant in the world. They also have the oldest recipe for the Cuban Sandwich, and have been making it for longer than any other restaurant.

It’s easy to get better Cuban Sandwiches in Tampa at a better price. Due to the history though, I think it’s worth getting a [Cuban sandwich from the Columbia](https://cestlavibe.com/cuban-sandwich-at-the-columbia-restaurant-in-tampa/) to-go, and taking some time to walk around the restaurant while waiting for it.

Just because something is simple doesn’t make it’s easy.

They also make what might be the best salad ever

  5. Miami Cuban bread is so much better. Tampa Cuban bread is more like shitty French bread.

My favorite!! Grew up there. Miss that sandwich and the 1905 salad.
