Got my first canning book. I cannot wait to try some of these recipes. So far I’ve canned ugly chicken, and bone in chicken legs. Our power was out for 2 days so unfortunately had to use some already.

Wow. That’s impressive. My first book was probably Goodnight Moon or something like that

Enjoy it! It’s my favorite from Ball so far. It has recipes in it that you can’t find online, too.

Can recommend the Zesty Zucchini Relish and the Nutty Plum Conserve. Both are staples here!

I love this book! Mine is covered in post it notes, scribbles and highlights.

If you have an iPad or kindle and a few extra dollars, getting the digital version in addition to the print version gives you the ability to search FAST. (It’s kinda nice)

Some great recipes in here for handling green tomatoes at the end of the summer, for ex. Salsa Verde, Green Tomato Chutney (I use Granny Apples), and more.

This is the book I use for canning everything.
