Shabbat Birthday Prep Garden Tour Meals, Salads and Dips Recipes

It’s Shays Birthday this Shabbat and we celebrated by having his parents and friends over. It was loads of fun with great company and delicious foods. The only exception with a birthday that falls out on Shabbat is that we wouldn’t blow out the candles. Hope you enjoy this video.

  1. Happy Birthday 🎉 you lucked OUT when you met this lovely lady. How blessed are you. Beautiful, healthy children too.
Shabbat shalom (I am a messianic Jew. I think all Catholics are.)

  2. I know you can’t film actual Shabbat dinner, but could you do a similar type dinner where you show us how you serve and keep things warm? Do you serve your salads in the containers you store them in? Do you eat family style at the table, or do you fix plates for others or do they fix their own buffet style?

  3. I actually like when you repeat a recipe in a video. It serves as a good reminder, and watching it get remade is motivation. Plus, sometimes the recipe may change a bit, so it’s nice to watch different versions of it.

Btw, I made a dairy version of your jalapeno dip – I used half yogurt, half cream cheese, and it was amazing. I will try it the way you made it, next. Shabbat shalom!

  4. I love your garden. I do all I can during the hot summer here in north carolina to keep my plants alive in hopes that it will grow in the fall. Nice job helping Miriam!

  5. She’s an amazing mom and wife, thank you for teaching us so many wonderful recipes to share with our families. Shabbat Shalom!

  6. Did you make a second pan of baby potatoes to go along with the roast as there were just a few around or does the family not really care for potatoes?

  7. Got a little nervous watching Miriam use that big knife to clean out these baby peppers although she seemed quite skillful. I am wondering if maybe a small paring knife would be safer.

  8. How long does it take the food to get hot, using the hot plate, after pulling it out of the refrigerator?

  9. What do you serve Friday night, Saturday afternoon and then in the evening. ( especially Saturday summer evenings, when Shabbat ends so late?

  10. I love all of your videos. You seem so amazing, wish I had things altogether like you do!! I’m a mom of 2 and feel so overwhelmed…idk how you do all of this and work too!!!! Shabbat Shalom! May God bless you and your family. As a follower of Yeshua, I’m so thankful for your insight into the Jewish culture, traditions, and ways of interpreting the Law. Praying you and your family are safe and also praying for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. Much love from AZ!!
