For a brief confused moment, I thought that top flag was Poland 🇵🇱instead of inverse-Poland 🇮🇩

I don’t understand this post.

Makes sense that Bizarro-Poland would be able to handle all the heat

Thailand and India curiously missing…

Indonesia at the top? Maybe I’m not going to the right parts of Indonesia!

Interesting putting Korea over Malaysia for national spice level
improbable_humanoid
This is absolute bullshit. The difference in average spice tolerance between countries just isn’t that big, so the level of spice between 1 and 10 just wouldn’t be that big. It should really be a logarithmic scale. 10 should be like 100 times hotter than 0.
There are absolutely Japanese people with 10x the tolerance of some Indonesians.

Not this again, how can I tell my head it’s not Poland as it’s upside down. My head thinks Polish people eat spicy food now :/

India and Thailand 10+?

I’ve never really thought of Indonesian food as being that much hotter than Korean.

Where in Japan is this? I could go for some spicy ramen.

Give me a bowl of 6 and 9.
10 is obviously a meme.

I’d order 10 and still be disappointed at the lack of spiciness. I’ve been through this song and dance in Japan enough times. This restaurant is correct for putting Japan at 1, but I bet they don’t realize that applies to them as well.
