I found this glass that I like, and was wondering – would this be best for cortado or cappuccino in regards to size – it isn't possible for me to measure the volume it can hold.

Flat white? Seems a bit too big for a true cortado
mcspend
I‘d say that‘s approx. 150ml so that would be perfect for a flat white.

That looks like between 170-200ml (6-7oz). Probably a cap. A cortado is usually 120ml (4oz). My cups are all 150ml (5oz) and I call mine flat whites.

Would think you’d want something around 100ml for cartado

Looks like a 150mL cup to me.

I mean.. the rules aren’t that strict or even agreed upon. Could be a long cortado or a short cap, but it does look about right for a flat white. Although in au/nz that’s often the same size cup as a cap anyway! If you like them just get them! Adjusting the coffee dose can also be done to match a slightly off milk volume..

This looks more like an empty glass to me?

Update: bought them and they’re perfect for a flat white (160ml). A drink I somehow forgot existed even though it’s my go to at cafés.

Can I say I reaaaaally hate glass cups without handles. I am not sure if you want me to drink it or not. You certainly don’t want me to drink it hot.

whats this shape of glass called?
that would be a Gibraltar. pretty much a cortado made with a double shot served in that style glass.
edit: i love this sub. where else can you get down voted so regularly for posting the correct answer for some unknown reason?
Are you at the Libby Glass Factory outlet store in Toledo, OH? If so I was there a month ago. Amazing glass warehouse
Cortado. Cappuccino in at least an 8oz cup, preferably in a 12oz , and even 16oz.

Whiskey or Scotch is the real answer
Any glass is a cortado glass if you’re brave enough.
Yea I bet you could do both. Nice glasses tho I like them. I kept dropping mine so I just bought a yeti cup. I miss my nice glass ones tho.
Brother cup don’t matter
Grind finer, looks watery.
Does it get too hot to comfortably hold?
