Unsure if you all wanna see but cleaning out my grandparents home, i received 71 total jars mainly quarts in a few variety of brands. Including Atlas, Golden Harvest and few special Ball Jars. Enjoy a few photos

    Might be a dumb question but are “antique” jars safe to can in … assuming no cracks or blemishes? Just throw a fresh ring and lid on?

  5. I inherited a few cases of GEM jars from the 50s and 60s and have been using them for the last 15 years. I check each year for chips and take those out of rotation. I have yet to have one explode or crack during the process. The odd one doesn’t seal but no more then then modern jars.

    Love! I inherited a few dozen jars as well as got several boxes from an estate sale. Something about vintage jars that I love. They’re unique, and I always like to wonder what was stored in them
