Wife didn’t like my mayo sandwich, so I made her a tomato sandwich


She wanted Hellmans not Dukes, I’ll have to address that in our next family meeting.

Very light spray-coating of duck fat on the bread. Grilled on gas grill.

Mayo on each slice of grilled bread. Followed by lettuce and bacon on each slice.

Seasons last heirlooms in the center.

    Ooo! I have some duck fat in a jar. It can’t be sprayed though. Maybe I’ll take some out and let it reach room temperature, spread it on some bread and go from there. There will be meat in the sandwich but what would you all suggest? Chicken? Turkey? I enjoy ham and roast beef, etc. but something tells me a white meat would suit best. Maybe shredded or thinly sliced chops. Like Carnitas even! That just popped into my head. I think that might work out well.
