Any recs for crumble topping coffee cake. I'm married to a Jersey girl and she says it is the one thing she misses most. I used to be able to get it from a Swedish Bakery in the burbs but they are gone now. None left in the city.

  1. This probably isn’t that hard to bake yourself.

Trader Joe’s has a mix for this, though I thought it was heavy on nutmeg instead of cinnamon. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Starbucks, but their’s is decent.

No idea but following cause that looks so good. I bet tbh it’s not hard to make at home but I realize that doesn’t answer your question.

I will say Sweet Rabbit on Belmont has a coffee cake that is lovely (as is their buckwheat Kouign-amann) but so don’t remember exactly if it has that crumble exactly

That’s not “east coast coffee cake” — that’s just coffee cake. From anywhere.

Looks a lot like Cinnamon Crumb Cake from Corner Bakery. Did a google search, apparently it’s Cinnamon Creme Cake.

Yea that’s a proper crumb cake. I searched for this too and actually love the one at Corey’s NYC Bagel Deli in River North

Anyone remember Schmeissing’s Bakery in Lincoln Park? The best coffee cake like this.

Go to the Jewels and pick up an Entenmann’s.
