I used to get a portion of chips wrapped in a cone from my local chippy. You’re not too good to eat chips off of paper.
EditPiaf
In the Netherlands, chips usually are served in a cardboard cone if you buy them on the street
DrH1983
Yeah the cone is a knowing reference to takeaway chips traditionally being sold in cones, though it’s beginning a bit rarer these days. But it’s a good way to hold chips whilst eating outside.
It’s strange in a restaurant though

You want your chips served… in a plate?

I am most annoyed by that huge orange slide floating above the ice (?) and the very little amount of juice (?) in the glass.
It looks terrible, what even is it?

Call me old fashioned but I’m not paying $96000 for food.
tomqvaxy
Isn’t that fairly normal for a chippy? Like maybe old fashioned and in a cone of newsprint but like not weird?
Call me when it’s a traffic cone.
Etherealfilth
The burger is on a plate. You can transfer your required amount of chips to the plate and be happy.

That’s a pretty normal way to serve fries.

Why is the orange juice divided into three layers?
