For those in search of alternatives for Spain, I’ll be highlighting some restaurants in Asturias, a region less known to many international travelers. Full of natural beauty and very small restaurants in villages showcasing their best dishes/products.

Monte is located in San Feliz, a town of 25 people in the heart of Asturias mining region. Chef Xune wanted to highlight the culture from his town and the products and lifestyles of the people that live nearby. Located in an idyllic location, nested on the mountain, they make you feel right at home with their charm and warm service.
