Hey y’all – first time canner here. I followed the Ball recipe to the letter, washed lids, wiped jar rims. I found a bit of tomato residue (and general stickiness) along with some liquid loss on these otherwise sealed looking jars. Am I done for?

You’ll be fine.
Bad tomatoes smell and are fizzy. It was obvious to me to not eat bad tomatoes. The lid won’t “pop” off when unsealing it as well.
When canning air escapes before it’s sealed and some liquid.
As long as it’s sealed now, and you processed for long enough don’t worry.
