Isn’t the main point of food to be tasty for someone? Personally I hate this much sauce/gravy but if somebody likes their steak done like this I dont recall anyone ever assigned the steak-police to the case. Mate if you enjoyed your dinner night then go for it, dont listen to the know it alls from reddit

So how was it OP? Usually I shy away from sauces when it comes to steak but when done right it can elevate the meat. With that being said though I think it should always be served on the side to allow the person to decide whether they want to commit to the sauce or not. Also it doesn’t look like the fat was fully rendered, that’s a major no no.
