I was tempted to buy them all and put them in my freezer. But I left plenty for everyone else. Anyone here ever made steak at poivre with a tritip before? Is that just a ridiculous idea?

“Steak au poivre” is a classic French dish where a steak is coated with crushed peppercorns and seared.
Tri-tip is a flavorful cut of beef that comes from the bottom sirloin.
Had to lookup, felt like sharing.

We sear these like any other steaks or BBQ them all time

So when it says rings half price at register, it just cuts both tri tips in half? Different than at my grocery, they just take off the whole lower priced item so I hunt for equal weighted/priced meat. Interesting.
