Not a veggie, but I have a watermelon plant in my garden, and this was the first melon we harvested. Flesh is whitish, pink than red, pretty watery, not especially flavorful. you can see the white vans leading to the seeds more than in a store-bought melon. Picked too early? Too late?

Most likely overwatered. Watermelons need significantly less water after they size up in order to concentrate the sugars.

  2. It means it’s unripe. Which is also why it hasn’t had enough time to gets sweet.

    Back at it again, Daniel?

    sorry

  4. Wrap the cut part and fridge it for a few days and see if it ripens up at all before it goes bad. Won’t help a ton, but might make it a little more palatable.

Looks good to me. Maybe under ripe if anything.
