Avoid buying anything at the tin building unless you want something average and pay $$$$ for it. I suggest you go to fabrique for the cardamom bun or librae bakery for their croissants. If you happen to be in Greenpoint check out radio bakery ( go early though because they sell out quickly)

I’m surprised to see all of the hate but this is Reddit after all.
The Tin Building is fun, it has a few different shops and restaurants all within this really cute building that was once the Fulton Fish market from the early 1900s. It’s a cool concept and fairly unique to anything I have been to.
Honestly the cafe and pastries are delicious and worth the trip alone. I would recommend visiting at least once.

If I’m headed all the way there I’d def stop for a slice at Di Fara, prob the least crowded one.
