Lunch – Gabriel Kreuther – NYC

Hi folks. First post here but I have been enjoying reading everyone's reviews from one side of the world to the other for the past couple months.

My wife and I had lunch at Gabriel Kreuther ** by Bryant Park NYC yesterday while we were in the city for the day.

We had a 2 hour experience where I had the pre fix lunch menu and my wife had a trout main (not pictured in ablum).

The host was helpful accommodating my wife's temporarily broken foot as we entered.

Service and wine staff were professional and guided us to excellent food and wine pairings. We expected as much and were satisfied with the level of service.

The food was also delicious. Complex flavors, unique choices, beautifully presented. Entirely approachable. As it comes to the difference of 1 or 2 stars, our feeling was 1.5 ish. We prefer 1 star resturants (been to six 1 stars and now two 2 star) from a experience perspective so it is simply our thoughts. Food was excellent but not as 'out there' as our other 2 star experience.

Atmosphere was relaxed, refined, and the bar area was particularly beautiful (pictured).
