Borscht – a soup made with sourdough or seasoned with vinegar. Borscht is popular in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Nowadays, borscht is made with flour sourdough or using vegetable or fruit acid. It can be, for example, sauerkraut juice, pickled beetroot juice.

    Beautiful!  love borscht so much. I like the different varieties of it. I made a white borscht last week that was wonderful but I prefer this version but with “too much” dill and a lil sour cream
