    I used to work at Harrods as my first job and can confirm the customer service levels of being polite to being an ass also goes down behind the scenes….

    As a West Coast Canadian I am in shock at what they are charging for salmon. Of course, you have to account for the import fees, and cost of shipping, but 32 GBP? I did the conversion for you of what we pay and the equivalent would be 2gbp. Two. Worlds most expensive food hall, indeed!

    I remember Harrods used to have these beautiful food displays. I guess after the pandemic they put it all in non appealing boxes…As for quality I trust your judgement Hannah as a non sponsered reporter 😀

    I was visiting one of our daughters in London 2011 – we had a lovely day out & went into Harrods at the end of the day & I was really looking forward to going to the cheese counter & discussing what cheeses to get but we stood there and were completely ignored for ages. We ended up going to the cheese shop at Gipsy Hill & had wonderful service. Thank you for your videos.

    Oh my word I LOOOOOOVE Harrods. Wespent a week in London this summer and I spent one whole day in Harrods. I just. Ould not get enough of everything in that glorious shop. The LG where the books are are superb. And then I had a tuna salad with fresh green juice at the restaurant down on the LG section and I am still drooling about that. This vlog is superb, thankyou Hannah! It makes me want to go to London and rent a self-serving apartment in Knightsbridge and just LIVE the London life for 2-months, (although I will not do my supermarket shopping at Harrods. I agree with you dear Hannah on thatone😆😆). We LOVE you andyou are so pretty. Love your shorter hair also.

    Hannah, I always enjoy your videos! It is nice to treat yourself and splurge once in a while on yourself!👍Even though the food wasn't that great. However, the food display was
    very lovely. I specially loved the pastries 😋😋! They looked out this world!😋❤. It is a shame that you had to face a nasty salesperson…She must be a very unhappy person!

    Interesting. The whole culture of ready made food is very popular in UK. I guess this might be coming from the fact that UK is an island and hence lot of food is imported? I guess it's harder to plant strawberries in UK so prices get crazy. Normally strawberries in most of Europe are super cheap and you just buy a basket😂 also I am very curios of what are these scottisch eggs…

    Ah Hannah, thank you for this video, I'm from Cape Town South Africa and those prices are eye wateringly expensive. Woww, you'd love Cape Town if you haven't already been… (just ask Jamie Oliver who was here recently), I hope you get to come and visit and treat yourself to amazing fresh seafoods, etc. We think our food is expensive 😂 but my mouth was agape as I was doing the conversions in my mind. We visited in 2019 and I'd wanted to see Harrods so badly. Walked in to what was obviously the perfumes dept through revolving doors and I was instantly so claustrophobic with hundreds of people everywhere, I was completely overwhelmed, I just left again. But I won't support them anyway now, mainly because of the owners. I enjoy all your blogs, so thank you.

    Thankfully, the lady behind the chocolate counter proved that there are some nice people who can be friendly, helpful and polite. I enjoy looking at different foods but am I alone, in having to raid the fridge whilst watching?? Lol. It was those lovely looking crab cakes that broke me! I paused the show and cut a big wedge of mature cheddar!
