Japanese Food Slow Cooker Kakuni September 7, 2024 Made “Kakuni” (stewed pork belly) in the slow cooker today for the first time. Turned out great!Matched great with Aooni IPA.It was super simple to make. Layer top (green) part of green onion on bottom of slow cooker. Place pork on top.Add all other ingredients.Cook on high for 4 hours.*Add hard boiled eggs if desired.*Beware overcooking.
