Stuffed Capsicum Recipe – Masala Chicken Stuffed Capsicum – Chicken Recipe

Ingredients –
For ginger garlic tomato puree –
* 30 gm/ 1 oz ginger/ 2 inch length
* 30 gm / 1 oz garlic/ 9 large garlic cloves
* 260 gm/ 9 oz / 2 medium red tomatoes
For Masala Chicken –
* 790 gm/1.74 lb ground chicken
* 320 gm/ 11 oz/ 2 large onions. I chopped them all and then divided them in 2 portions, one for cooking the chicken, the other portion I used while cooking the gravy
* 370 gm/13 oz/ 2 large potatoes
* 2 teaspoons curry powder.

* 1/2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
* 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
* freshly crushed black pepper
* 1 tablespoon all purpose flour (maida)
* 1/2 cup hot water
* 1 chopped green chilli (optional)
* chopped coriander leaves or any herb of your choice
* half of the prepared ginger garlic tomato paste
* 2 tablespoon oil
For the sauce
* portion of onion stated above
* half of the prepared ginger garlic tomato paste
* 2 heaped teaspoons curry powder
* 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder (use less to start with)
* 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 1 teaspoon sweet paprika (optional)
* 1/2 cup hot water. Add little more if sauce looks too dry
* 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste
* 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
* 4 tablespoons oil
** 515 gm/ 18 oz green bell peppers (capsicum). You can use more as you saw in video I had a lot of leftover from the chicken.
Serve this with rice or as an appetizer

  4. Hi Bumbi. I love your recipes and I am cooking this one next for sure. One thing I hope you will help with. I am one of those weird people that really really loves extremely hot food. I live in the UK and there are some great UK developed hot dishes by the South Asian community here, such as Vindaloo etc. But I am not normal and it isn't enough.   10. I use the same method but after filling the peppers, I usually roast them in a little bit of oil on all sides before putting them into the gravy / sauce. Gives a nice taste.
