I love a good BLT…. But I’m taking this over any BLT I’ve ever had!!

Remoulade:
• 1 cup mayo
• 1.5-2 tbsp yellow mustard
• 1 tbsp Louisiana style hot sauce @poiriersauce @dustinpoirier
• 1 clove of garlic, minced
• 1.5 tbsp diced green onion
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• 1 tsp @tonychacheres
• salt and pepper to taste!

Fried Green Tomatoes:
• 1 cup Flour
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tbsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper
• 2-3 eggs beaten
• heirloom fried green tomatoes

Toppings:
• lettuce
• julienned red onion and dill pickle
• bacon

To make the sauce, just combine everything in a container with a lid, mix well, and pop in the fridge for at least 30 mins!

Then you can get some bacon into an oven starting to preheat, set to 400°F for 20-25 mins.

The fried green tomatoes are simple to make and require a seasoned flour and eggs. First mix together the seasonings with the flour and whisk. Then beat two eggs and pour that into a second dish.

Cut the tomatoes to 1/4 in thick slices, and dredge in the seasoned flour, then into the egg, and back into the flour. Set aside in a wire rack.

Heat a fryer to 375°F, place the tomatoes in and lower the basket. The temperature will drop slightly which is fine. These will fry at around 350°-375° for 4-5 mins or until golden brown. Remove to drain and immediately salt the tomatoes when you remove them from the oil.

By now the bacon should have finished up, let’s put the sandwich together as shown in the video using remoulade sauce on both of the toasted brioche buns, the preferred toppings listed above, the fried green tomatoes, bacon, and enjoy!!
