I’m pretty sure a lot of McCafes around the globe (at least in Europe) are using same set up. Also, in some asian countries they’re using even fancier machines (like La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino).

I’ve seen the same machine at a McCafe in Germany. Also, if you’re in Italy, what are you doing at a McDonald’s? GTFO, pronto!

  3. It doesn’t matter if you see how they extract 150ml from 18g of charcoal roasted coffee.

In the end it is just a hot water dispenser and they use charcoal-like beans.

In the city where I live in The Netherlands the mc cafe espresso tastes sour…

All McDonald’s in Europe should have a McCafé set up just like it

Sure, but 99% of the bar attendants in Italy still have no clue how to use it, so you’ll still get a burnt or underextracted coffee.

Still got a cup full of hot milk when I ordered a cappuccino in Como, Italy 😭

  9. New Zealand McDonalds has some fancy machines also. Its called “maccas” here lol

(When in Rome, do as the Romans do.)

I’ve gone to India and they had a yellow Rancilio. Was thoroughly impressed

  12. i’ve stopped at gas stations in italy where i’ve gotten amazing espresso.

  13. Even here in Egypt mcCafe has those lovely yellow machines. Their espresso is shit though.

  14. You can all thank Australia for McCafe. Specifically Melbourne for their insane coffee culture.

  15. In Australia most McCafes I’ve seen use Wega. the coffee you get is slightly better than what you get from the petrol station.
