About 10 years ago, I was given delicious desserts (possibly Turkish/middle eastern originating). One sweet left a lasting impression on me for its delicious, crunchy, granulated sugar coating on the outside. It melts in your mouth even though the consistency of the sweet inside looks like dried cookie dough that had been rolled in sugar. It’s vanilla in flavor and came in a red wrapper, similar to candy. I had asked what was in it, and was told “eggs”. That’s all the information I got.
Please let me know if you’ve had anything like this!
