  2. Appreciate the videos!! I'm starting garden beds in south Louisiana. Heavy clay starting point. I dug down couple feet and started layering in compost, chopped leaves, microbiology teas, and the native soil broken up with peat.
My question is this, after letting beds sit for a while do I till it all together or just let it stay layered to not disturb the life underground. Thanks

  3. I’m in central TX started my brassicas two weeks ago and my ac went out and killed my seedlings 😂😂 so I’m starting over.

  4. I am taking an Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteer Course and was amazed to find out those brassicas all have the same DNA. Nature is amazing.

  5. Thank you for this video. My garden was beautiful and successful until the squash bore beetle destroyed it all. Is it safe to plant this with those horrible pets around?

  6. Planted Sugar Snap and Lincoln peas 2 days ago. Also, beets, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, spinach, and carrots. Still have to get my broadleaf mustard in. Maybe some turnips too. Hoping for less deervestation! Zone 7a/b border….All direct sow. Jang JP-1 so nice.

  7. I love your videos but I had a dismal summer garden in my 150 grow pots 7 to 20 gal under 40% 70% and even 90%. I’m zone 9a and since may it been 100 to 118 degrees most days and everything fried! I’m had a great fall with you (my First year gardening!!!) so I’m really hopeful for fall. I have my brassicas in seed trays 15 tomatoes just out under 40 % from my seed trays
Problem. It’s 100-102 here the next few days I’m afraid to transplant my 6-8 weeks starts outside under even 70% shade cloth. Also I found under my fried summer crops have lots of pill bugs under the mulch? How do I prevent that??

  8. One channel, SIX plants to grow this fall!

Another channel, TEN plants to grow this fall!

This channel, FIFTY plants to grow this fall!

  9. Does anyone know if any of these are not attractive to deer? I have too many deer and cant afford a giant fence yet!

  10. ❤❤❤❤ aww poor Dale! I’m leaving my German pups for 5 days to go to Savannah mid September. Thor my Rottweiler sits on my suitcase 😅! I just put in radishes, bok choy, Brussels and chives for the Fall. I’m in 8A

  11. We love you Dale, Thank-you so very much also for your very awesome videos, I love following you, you explain everything so very well.

  12. I have a question. I just took up my cucumber plants and plan to plant peas in their place. Would it be beneficial to spray the soil with baking soda or peroxide prior to replanting my bed? I wonder if their are harmful pathogens in the soil. I am a new gardener; I have raised beds, and I need all the help I can get:)

thank you for all your hard work in providing these informative videos for the rest of us

  13. I know how it feels Dale.
We have 2 Dachshunds both Female that get bummed out every time my wife goes out for shopping or to pickup anything. They need to sing a song for a minute or two every time.
Sometimes I even sing with them.
Then they sit by the stairs to the back door or the glass door and wait for her to come home. They seem to know if she will be back with in a short time or be out for hours. They just know !!! Extra Treats for Dale !!!!
    ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  14. It is obvious Dale can spell when you see his reaction when you spelled out W A L K. Dogs are smarter than most people realize and Dale is lucky to have an owner like you that recognizes his intelligence.
