Last minute baking calls for Pillsbury! I told my kids how I used to bake all the time during the fall season, and they begged to bake with me. I had already gone grocery shopping before this, so I just ran back to the store and bought some pumpkin spice brown sugar cinnamon rolls and Halloween sugar cookies. They loved the process! We listened to Halloween songs and danced in the kitchen and now they have sticky pumpkin spice icing covering their faces and hands😆❤️ They say hi, by the way!! We also made a funfetti cake together yesterday for my little girls birthday but it was eaten before I got any pictures😄

Are those cookies back? My kids thought they were the be all end all!

Your kids did a great job on their baked goods! Congratulations, girls! You’re officially bakers now. 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳

Great job! I’ll have to get some of the cookies to make with my child. 😊

I’ve made some pretty good stuff taste and look wise. My favorite times I’ve cooked anything was getting the stool and having my nieces help then they’d get stoked and be super proud of what they made. Lots of fun.

Making sweet memories is the best part of baking, whether it’s the actual baking part or sharing/consuming the finished product with people you love and love you.

My absolute best memories of my mom were of baking with her in our kitchen. It didn’t matter if it was a box mix, from scratch, whatever. Those memories are gold. I’ve never had the cookies—are they slice and bake? My son would probably love them, he’s a plain-sugar-cookie monster.

I still love indulging in some Pillsbury cinnamon rolls once in a while. Especially the ones with orange icing.

  8. javelina_seabean

Yes those cookies are so nostalgic for me! It’s something I can taste just looking at this photo 🙂

    “Does Pillsbury count here?”

Heck yeah! This is “baking” not “posing” so as long as you’re not boiling them or anything that’d land you in r/ stupidfood you’re right as rain here!

It’s the thought that counts and the fact you’re introducing young ones to baking means you’re 10x welcome to bake Pillsbury whatever you want!

I would say yes! Totally counts for kiddos ☺️ how cute!

I could have the most expensive cookie in the world and I think those ghost ones would still be my favorites

    Pillsbury cookies are unmatched 😩

    Hi to your kids!

I loved baking with my son when he was a child. He’s an adult now and can bake really well.

My Mum taught me and I wanted to pass that skill on.

Your kids have done a tremendous job and I really wish I had the opportunity to try the buns and biscuits. They look delicious!

  14. nighthawkndemontron

    Their sugar cookies are dope

  15. basil_witch87

Definitely counts! Box mixes and stuff like that is how I started learning to get into baking too 💜

  16. bina101

Oh god I can taste the cookies now. Let me go see what store has them

  17. IronSlanginRed

If it went in the oven it counts as baking!

  18. WonderWoman480

1000% yes it counts 🍪 I remember baking those cookies with my parents when I was a kid ☺️ The time spent together making memories matters more than what you’re baking

  19. LobsterNo3435

Great way to get them going. Easy quick. Those Holliday image ones are awesome. Than next step decorate sugar cookies, etc.

  20. rcher87

I’m sorry what kind of cinnamon rolls?!??!??

Excuse me, everyone, I apparently need to run to the grocery store…

  21. ohmygodgina

My mom & granny letting me bake Pillsbury whatever was the start of my love of baking. I hope one day I get to teach my kids how to bake with Pillsbury. Keep being an awesome parent.

  22. Dandelion_Man

Looks like my Christmas and Halloween rolled into one picture. If it gets put in the oven it counts as baking imo.

  23. boo_snug

I love these little cookies! Okay now I need some

  24. Acrobatic-Acadia-501

Your kids will remember the time spent with you. It doesn’t matter if it’s Pillsbury or from scratch. 🥰 Great job!!

  25. Andiepandie4

Friend, if you’re putting it in the oven and hitting “bake”…sounds to me like it’s legit! 🙌 That looks absolutely yummy and the best part is baking with your kiddos. I’m so nostalgic now…my son loved those picture cookies on every holiday!

  26. squidsquatchnugget

I miss when these came in a tube and you cut them yourself

  27. chain_me_up

Some of the tastiest sugar cookies! Plus you can eat the dough raw, my fiance and I usually each have 1 raw then bake the rest lol. Enjoy baking with the little ones!

  28. SweetBees102

Gosh those Pillsbury cookies are such a distinct kind of *good* and I don’t know why! It’s like those Lofthouse cookies that everyone either despises or loves. Part of me wishes I knew a recipe for it to make at home, but who needs it when I can buy it?

Either way, counts as baking to me!

  29. Silvawuff

As someone who tests these products for quality and safety for a living, I can assure you that it’s definitely baking! A lot of work goes into the formulas and processes that get these products into your oven.

I would view it less as “cheating” and more like simply skipping ahead to the good part. Glad you and your kids had a good time; it makes it worth it!

  30. Queasy_Lettuce_9281

Your kids did a wonderful job, perfectly cooked

  31. Aluminumthreads869

My gosh are those the orange rolls? I can eat 6 of those when they come out 😭

  32. adotang

Eating those Pillsbury Halloween/Christmas sugar cookies is one of my earliest memories, for some reason. Had no idea they were gone or came back.
