Blind reverse sear (not temp probe). Rib roast, with lemon herb and chilli potatoes, and brown butter broccoli.
Sear could have been better, but hey, can’t bat 1.000.

Looks good, sending positive vibes and praying for your dad’s surgery to go well.

Looks great. Strength to your dad for tomorrow and during recovery 💪🏽

  3. So delicious. I can tell you put the time in and wanted to make it special. Godspeed and look forward to more good food!

Aren’t you supposed to fast for 24 hours before surgery?

  5. No no no, that doesn’t look right at all… better let me test all of it to make sure it’s good. Y’know quality control and shizz…

    Joke aside, that looks amazing.

He’s gonna be proud of this . Good luck 🤞

For most surgery, you are not allowed to eat 12/24h before.

I hope this beef was not a mistake.

    Christ, Brother. That looks fantastic.

Can’t wait to see what you cook him for post-op!

Meat looks good. Cutting your meat on a plate is a criminal offense.

I’m so mad you’re using your knife on that plate but it looks awesome!

No food after midnight, but he should be eating lightly the day before. That cut of beef is fatty and dense. Great for a meal on a regular day, though!☺️

Well, worst case scenario your pops will leave everything out on the table for the surgeons to decide 🤣☠️🤣☠️

  14. Klutzy_Tradition_983

Nope. They will delay surgery and a ribeye needs to be grilled. Dont postpone life saving surgery for a bullshit steak

  15. Klutzy_Tradition_983

Honestly, i wouldnt fed that to my dog. Raw is better than that shit. Why did you waste a rib eye if you cant cook it? 3 baby potatoes on a plate? If hes gonna die, hospital food would be a better last meal

  16. Now that’s a good son, great way to show respect and care.

Almost definately , “No”. save it for the recovery…
