My parents recently went abroad and left behind a bunch of cuts of unlabeled meat. I haven’t really been cooking any of it because I can’t tell what it is. Is anyone able to help me identify these visually?

  1. Pork Butt. Go slow cook it and prepare coleslaw. Time for some pulled pork sandwich action. 💪

  2. 2 and 4 are definitely pork shoulder. 3 is likely as well but could be a loin portion.

Butcher here. Pic 2 of 4 looks like pork collar, 3 of 4 looks like loin, and 4 of 4 looks like shoulder.

It’s two types; boneless pork loin and pork butt shoulder.

One bag has a pork shoulder blade steak. The others look like chops.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to chime in with obviously incorrect answers on post like these…

Anyways, the last one is part of pork shoulder (Boston butt/pork pot roast)
The second is a lean pork roast (what you’d cut boneless chops out of)
The first appears to be part of a pork shoulder as well, could use it for stew or add it to the other shoulder piece in a pot roast.
