I have begun making dry Cappuccinos lately, holding the top foam back with a spoon, then topping off by spooning in real foamy stuff. It results in a different drinking experience than a latte art drink which has a pretty homogenous result. Finished off with some chocolate powder.
Just googled it, looks like it’s a thing. Never knew about that! I used to make cappuccino using a milk foamer machine thing and apparently it was making dry cappuccino all the time, mega foamy

If I ever get one out, I order it dry. Definitely the “old-school” way to go as far as I’m concerned. Lot’s of places out there have a much-too homogenized cappuccino that’s more like a smaller latte
