I just baked my first Birthday Cake (for myself)

I’ve always thought about baking a cake for someone to celebrate their birthday instead of getting a store-bought one.

I thought why not make one for my self to celebrate my birthday (I celebrated my nth b-day just recently) and so that’s what I did exactly.

For this cake, I made 2 ube chiffon cakes, prepared Yema frosting (for the filling) and finished it off with ube buttercream frosting. Some of you might recall my ube-yema cake from last month.

It may not be the most beautiful out there (needs improvement on my piping skills) but for a beginner, I found great satisfaction and joy making it for my special day! I look forward to baking birthday cakes for my family members to celebrate their holiday!
