Last week, a friend gifted me his old portable kettle grill. Cleaned it up, tested it out once, then took it on the road. It was perfect for remote cooking, and functionally matched the bigger one I use at home.

I was so ready to dig in that I forgot to take a picture of the end product, but they were beef burgers with cheese, served at a concrete picnic table with potato salad and fruit—use your imagination and you won’t be far off!

The Smokey Joe is a great mini-kettle, but my current favorite portable is the Go Anywhere, both are great, but the WGA has so much more vent versatility.

I love my tiny square camping Weber. It just fits in its dedicated spot. Like the long bar in tetris 🤣.

I wouldn’t be able to fit the round one, I think, in my already overloaded car.
