We can’t taste pictures, 07 Tapestry should be delicious, every bottle is its own being. How was it stored ? If it is from
The Winery’s cellar. Should be great. That bottle? Anyone’s guess

Totally depends on how it was stored for the past 17 years. If kept cool and dark, might still be half decent. If not, it won’t taste like too much.

Drink it up and report back.

We would all drink it. It’s not likely to spoil. If it tastes gross, let somebody else try it. If they think it’s gross, tip it down the drain.

In its prime…..but give it to someone who appreciates a fine glass of wine.

Storage is the most important factor here. If it was kept even at regular room temp like 72 degrees the whole time you’re fine, but if it’s been kept in an unairconditioned closet through a summer or two, it’s probably gone

Idk, open it and report back!

  7. Depends on cellaring/storage…but give it a whirl!

Everything depends upon how the wines was stored…

It “should” be fine. Unless it’s not.

Loved BV – haven’t had a bottle in decades. Keep us posted!

Wine can’t “go bad” like become dangerous to drink- it can only “go bad” in terms of becoming gross, lol.

A lot depends on how this was stored also. Kept cool and in a dark place the whole time? Could be totally fine, even amazing!!Kept in a kitchen cupboard over many hot summers? Could be turning to vinegar by now.

This wine is sort of meant for aging…17 yrs now could be a little longer than it wanted, but there’s a chance it’ll be totally delicious, although there’s a chance the fruit flavors have sort of “dried” up also, could be very earthy and leathery. 2007 was also a great vintage in Napa, and so there’s an even better chance it aged well.

It’s worth learning how to use an [ah-so opener](https://www.amazon.com/DeVine-Wine-Opener-Vintage-Bottles/dp/B00TNSV4DC?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A39WL6GSC3RYAS) which is meant for extracting older corks, which might otherwise crumble apart. No big deal if it gets into the wine- you’ll probably want to strain it thru a cheese cloth anyway, to get rid of the sediment buildup. Just make sure whatever container you strain it into is very clean with no soap residue.

Hope you enjoy and let us know if you have more questions – and how the wine tasted!! Beaulieu is a great producer of Napa reds, and although this isn’t one of their “best” bottlings, tapestry is still a serious wine and it’s still very much worth trying.

If youve never drunk any wine before at all, I would try a couple of younger and less expensive bottles from the same area first. See if you can find the Beaulieu Napa cab, not the tapestry, just like [this one](https://www.wine-searcher.com/find/beaulieu+bv+cab+sauv+napa+valley+county+north+coast+california+usa?Xsort_order=p) (for example)

Here’s what cellartracker users (serious wine app) are saying about this wine and vintage- looks like generally positive stuff. Could also give you a decent indicator of what to expect, flavor-wise- https://www.cellartracker.com/w?933528

Also hope it was stored on its side so that the cork didn’t dry out, shrink and let air in…

Should be great. I used to pour this exact wine at a hotel and that easily had a 20 yr window
