Anyone do this? Video says to marinate for 4 hrs, but would it hurt if it’s overnight?

We prefer Ken’s salad dressings. Try the balsamic vinaigrette on chicken thighs! Marinate for at least an hour before grilling or air frying.

Overnight is fine, works on beef and chicken, works with other brands. Usually needs finishing salt, to taste.

Slice onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic to a zip lock. Overnight or at least 4 hrs. Some of the best chicken to be had. It works great in breast too.

Great for salmon too. I’ve done it overnight and it’s real good.

Question: are y’all rinsing off your Italian dressing marinade before adding dry seasoning? I’m still fairly new to grilling and while I like this for a marinade, it can be a somewhat lengthy process to get the chicken exterior dry enough for a good sear. Replies appreciated

No thanks and zesty Italian sauce doesn’t exist

Been using Italian dressing as a marinade for years. Wishbone is the best.

    Yes!!!!

Season them boneless thighs with Aobo and Sazón (Goya brand). Throw them in a Ziploc bag. Let the seasoning sit on them for an hour before adding the Italian dressing. Let them sit overnight.

    Best f’ing chicken ever.

You shouldn’t marinade chicken over night the acidity will start to breakdown the chicken. Gets mushy. I never go more than 8, usually closer to six.

I just did this with some chicken breasts last night! Add some Montreal seasoning before you put it on the grill to really set it off.

I don’t know if I would do overnight, the dressing seems to burn it a bit and might cause it to taste tough.

  11. Random but score some hot dogs and marinate them in that.

Yuck. Salt, pepper and garlic powder is all you need.

  16. I used this last night on chicken for Cesar salad. I recommend using a bit of mayonnaise as a binding agent to the chicken for the dressing. I do two parts dressing and one part mayonnaise and usually about a cup of dressing. You can use more or less mayonnaise per your preference on taste.

You really don’t need to marinate the chicken more than 30 minutes and let them get around room up before going to the grill. Overnight shouldn’t hurt but won’t do much extra with marinating.

Enjoy and make sure you get a little burnt edges for good flavor

I just recently did this very thing for the first time. I wanted to make grilled chicken alfredo, and I used this exact dressing for the marinade. I’m pretty sure I did overnight. The thighs came out so delicious I ate one straight off the grill and used the rest for my pasta alfredo. I seasoned with Cherry Creek Seafood seasoning from Savory Spice before grilling.

Shit works great on steaks too! I let them sit a couple hours
