So we recently got a wine fridge, and since we are slowly building our collection. We have the option to store some bottles at an angle for display purposes. Would this harm the wine if they would be stored like this for an extended period of time (10 years or more)?

I know I made a previous comment about the same thing, but “proceeds to zoom in and judge the wine choices”.
The cork dry up wouldn’t it?
It’s a common misconception that wines have to age on their side. As long as the cork isn’t compromised, there is no harm in keeping the wine at an angle or upright. The only downside to using a tilted display shelf is that you can’t stack and store more wines!
