Scored pretty good this morning, found an ad when I woke up that I could pass on!
It hasn’t been used in a good bit and it’s 7 years old so I’m going through the machine to make sure everything is working like it should. The group head looks to have some scale that I’ll work on bit by bit.
I heard some good things about the BDB while on the sub so I’m contemplating upgrading to it once it’s all good and cleaned. I’m coming from a BBE so I’m excited to try this one out!

Good pickup, definitely check to see how the o rings fair, take the top off, start the machine and let it come up to temp and see if there are any hiss/steam escaping.

I see these listed for $100~ all the time but I’m always nervous to grab one.
I strangely also found one for BDB back in the day! Had it for several years before upgrading. It’s a capable machine, but let me tell you, I worked on that machine nearly every week. Constantly blowing O-rings, things breaking, random leaks, etc. Highly recommend replacing them all while you have it open with temperature specd o-rings.
I managed to find a breville barista max for 40 just need to figure out how to fix the steam wand

It was hard to believe at first but I was at the state of “fuck it, why not ask” in the morning and they actually responded right away. About as lucky as my red BBE that I got for $20.
