Found this on the local marketplace for $100 but I can’t find any information about it online. Anyone have one or ever used one before?

That’s a Santa Maria style grill. Personally, I don’t like grill grates like that, as they are too hard to clean. You also can’t really do Argentinian style cooking without a bracero. But with that said, that’s a good looking grill, and is far more versatile than most people give it credit for. Beyond tri tip, you can cook chicken, burgers, ribs, turkey, etc. I wouldn’t do a brisket or pork shoulder, but otherwise, it’s a great grill to have and fun to use.

I think this is a Texas brand. This and pit pro.i think It’s a Santa Maria grill. I believe these are Argentina design. They’re pretty cool. I’d like to have one eventually.

As a South African I have to say I approve this model. I traditionally braai (South African bbq) with a grid over a charcoal or wood fire in South Africa (brick construction outdoor grills usually). However where I live now most of the time (Amsterdam, NL) I don’t have enough space/structural fidelity to build a brick braai. So I use on of these pitmaster models on my rooftop and in terms of quality and usability it comes close to a small South African braai.
don’t know how much it helps in your decision but I’ve made some very good meat on this bad boy 🙂 worlds great with some good charcoal and the adjustable grid height is a godsend especially when grilling for many people!

It’s kind of like a Santa Maria bbq, with some small adjustments. Those chains are awful. Use some thick steel cable or something. Chains suck in this application. But great style of bbq for cooking. I have one built into my outdoor kitchen. I live 15 minutes away from Santa Maria, so I’ve been using this style of bbq my whole life.
