Discard them and get some fresh jalapenos and habaneros. Slice them up and apply liberally to your nachos 🌶️

Serrano peppers, carrots and onions, salt, whole peppercorns, bay leaf, oregano 1:1 water and vinegar. Boil until the peppers chang color but aren’t too soft. store them somewhere cool. Or just buy them. Serrano pickled sliced long ways or whole By la costeña dont disappoint.

Time to move to habaneros. The best flavor to heat ratio imo. Or maybe serranos.
Black cobra peppers are tasty and have a little more spice to them

I know you need recs, but that just made my mouth water

Try La Morena sliced jalapeños. If you can find them in your area, they are significantly hotter than La Costeña.
I just typically buy the whole pickled peppers from La Morena and cut the nacho slices myself. Way better, and I enjoy the pieces of carrot and onion that’s in there.
Source: grew up eating nachos in Los Angeles, they tend to use the jalapeños with carrots and onions pickled.

Vinegar actually degrades capsaicin (chemical that makes peppers hot) so fresh jalapeños are always gonna be hotter… especially if you blister them. Also lightly pickling them yourself can lower heat loss (and be a healthier lower sodium option)

Try San Marcos and your butt will bleed. They use well aged peppers and they’re spicy. Even if you have a high tolerance….
Mezzetta hot jalapeños. Best ones you can buy in a store from a brand.

Use this recipe, but just make one of the jalapeno peppers a habanero pepper.
Cook Time 5 minutes Total Time 5 minutes Servings 1 jar Ingredients 1 cup white vinegar 1 cup water 2 cloves garlic smashed 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon salt 7-8 jalapeno peppers sliced in roundels Instructions : Clean wash and pat dry jalapenos with kitchen towel. Chop it in bit thick roundels.

Store in the fridge for up to two months or more.

Mezzetta tamed jalapeños! They don’t have much spice at all but they have ridiculously good flavor.

I would sacrifice my first born for La Costeña pickled whole habanero

Make your own, they are way cheaper and 1000 times better. Easy to make too.
Fill a jar with fresh sliced jalapenos Boil 50/50 water and vinegar (enough to fill your jar) with 1 tablespoon of salt and half tablespoon of sugar Once just boiling and the salt and sugar have dissolved carefully pour into your jar to completely cover the jalapenos, screw the lid on tight and let cool for 30 mins then store in the fridge for up to 3 months
Ball canning jars are perfect for this. Adjust salt and sugar based on size of jar and desired flavor.

Not spicier, but Mrs renfroes jalapenos are great. They have some crunch to them. Just a better pickled jalapeno
Pickle your own peppers, very simple
La Costena makes pickled habeneros that are significantly hotter. You should try, I’m a big fan
