Hey AB, that’s not Chicken chow mein, it’s Chicken lo mein
I've started boiling the noodles in a strainer and as they boil, swish them around with a chopstick or fork. Then I dump them in the pan. That way if I need any of the water, I can scoop some out. I don't have to remember to save any because whenever I strain it, I always forget to save some of the water if I need it. When I make tubular or long pasta, I just scoop it out of the water with a spider strainer or pick up the long strands with tongs out of the water. I figure it's one less kitchen accident when moving with a hot pot of water.
Bean sprouts are the cherry on top. This is a delicious looking recipe by you AB. ✌️
That is not Chow Mein it is Lo Mein. Lo mein is soft boiled noodles and chow mein is fried crunchy noodles. Just FYI
