I’d really like to have those black tomatoes for color in my salads.
In fact, all the colors are fabulous. The shapes, too, especially the ones to the left of the black tomatoes. I can imagine slicing them 1/4 inch and having them provide a scallop edge on a salad.
I’ve got a friend who works for a super-high end restaurant in NYC. Plate presentation is very important, especially when your restaurant is charging something like $50-60 for a salad. He would love to create with this harvest.
